This Land Assembly is Designated "City Centre" in Langford's Official Community Plan.

Uses Envisioned
- A major regional growth centre that supports a wide range of high density housing, including affordable and rental housing
- A major employment area for institutional, office, commercial, light industrial uses
- Major civic uses and public buildings are key landmarks
- A wide range of public squares, parks and open spaces are integrated throughout
- The City's major entertainment and or cultural precinct
- Inter-city and or inter-regional transit hub connecting residents

Zoning Bylaw
The City of Langford's Official Community Plan outlines the intended growth for each Designated Area. The Zoning Bylaw implements the Official Community Plan through various Zones and is used by Council through the rezoning process to require certain standards for development along with improvements to the Municipality for the increased demand on services. The Land Assembly Site would have a Zone tailor-made for its buildings.
